The ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research) hosts an annual summer program, with a majority of courses taking place at the University of Michigan. The ICPSR’s Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research is recognized internationally as the leading program in the world for the teaching of social science methods and technologies. The summer program consists of two 4-week sessions, the second of which will immediately follow the end of the 2013 Linguistic Institute.
This timing allows us to make an exciting opportunity available to our Institute participants. Anyone who would like to register for both the 2013 Linguistic Institute and the second session of the ICPSR Summer Program can benefit from several discounts to do so. Participants enrolled in both will receive:
1. “Member” tuition rates for the ICPSR Summer Program, even if they are from non-member universities. You can find the list of member universities here.
2. An additional 15% discount off the registration fee for the ICPSR Summer Program second session.
3. A 15% discount off the regular registration fee of $1720 for the 2013 Linguistic Institute.
A special note to those qualifying for the Linguistic Institute’s Michigan Discount: While you will still receive the discount on the ICPSR Summer Program described here, you will not receive the 15% off the Michigan Discounted Linguistic Institute registration.
