We will have two vans running between Northwood, Central Campus (where Mason Hall is) and Meijer’s (a large, all purpose shopping place) more or less constantly on Saturday and Sunday, June 23 from 10-6 pm. Vans will pick up at 2150 Cram Place (the Northwood Community Center) on North Campus; at Mason Hall on Central Campus and at the store entrance at Meijer’s. Vans will run the same route every Saturday and Sunday from 10-6 during the Institute.
Tours of campus and Ann Arbor will be given on June 23 from 1 pm – 6 pm every hour on the hour. Tours will leave from Business Office. These tours are sponsored by the Undergraduate Linguistics Club at the University of Michigan.
The Institute will officially open at our Institute Opening Reception, being held in the Michigan League Ballroom from 7-10 pm on Sunday, June 23.
Who to ask for help?
During the first week, our Institute organizers and interns will be wearing Institute t-shirts of specific colors. These are:
Green t-shirts: Institute organizers. These are the six people who have been most involved in the Institute planning and can ultimately answer most questions.
Red t-shirts: Institute interns. Participants should feel free to ask the Institute interns any questions they have. If interns don’t know the answers themselves, they will be able to find the answers.
